SI of The Conejo participated in the 2016 Trick or Treat Street on Saturday, October 29 at Conejo Rec & Park District’s Haunted Trail event held at Thousand Oaks Community Park, along with many other local youth groups, businesses, service organizations, and individuals. Conejo RPD hosted this community family-themed Halloween event to provide children with a SAFE and FUN place to trick-or-treat!
Children trick-or-treat to each booth along the “street” during the event. All of our candy (for 800 kids) was given out by 8:00 pm. Our booth, which was decorated with carved pumpkins and other cute decorations, was staffed by President Debbie Cutler and Leslie Escoto. Debbie and Leslie took this opportunity to give our club brochure to many of the mothers who had an interest in our club.
